By accessing or using file.cheap ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

file.cheap provides cloud-based file processing services including but not limited to: image thumbnail generation, image resizing and optimization, format conversion (WebP, etc.), watermarking, PDF processing, and metadata extraction.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Violate intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Upload content depicting child exploitation (will be reported to authorities)

5. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain all rights to the files you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and deliver your files as necessary to provide the Service.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

7. Pricing and Payment

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay all fees according to your chosen plan. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILE.CHEAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding the amount paid in the 12 months prior

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless file.cheap from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which file.cheap operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
